What are the prospects for peace that might permit Ukrainians to return home?
This year’s World Press Photo Exhibition continues to feature many images of the war in Ukraine. The largest and deadliest war in Europe since WWII has triggered profound transformations within Ukraine, Europe, and the rest of the world. The foundations of European security, defence industries and supply chains have all been shaken and the disruptive impact on migration, food, finance and energy is ongoing.
What is the current Western military and economic support and what are the prospects for peace and long-term security guarantees that might permit Ukrainians to return home and start rebuilding?
This is a panel discussion featuring expert speakers, with an opportunity for audience questions. The session will begin at 5.30pm but we strongly suggest arriving at the Parliament by 4.45pm – this will allow you enough time to browse the World Press Photo Exhibition before we start.
